I really need to brush up on my drawing skills.
I LOVE THISSS! AND I love you and your blog. Seriously, draw more. No, this is amazing work. Not just because you drew it so well but because I rarely see skinny body drawings as real as this.
Send me your suggestions and links to this blog. Also, if you own one, add to the tag ”skinnypositive” and follow it. I shall follow it too. I also accept legitimate body positive blogs of BOTH bodies because I’m seeing some sites being classed as body positive for everyone and yet it doesn’t warrant it. After I review blogs, I will create a special link on the blog to these blogs.
I have looked through some beautiful pictures of skinny girls and it has made me feel so much better about myself. No, not the ones with captions of ”urgh” or ”i want this!!” or ”eat something’’ or ”perfection” or ”report anorexia” but real, beautiful and honest pictures of fashion, sayings, quotes etc that brings confidence and boldness!
Send me messages! x
But you know what guys? :)
Skinny vs. Curvy
Maboroshii on DeviantART
BOTH ARE BEAUTIFUL.
Don’t trash one to promote the other.
But she just didn’t get it. She said that now it’s time “for them to get some shit.”
And I told her that talking shit about skinny girls is the exact same as skinny girls talking shit about bigger girls, but apparently putting down skinny girls “is not a big deal.”
I maintained that no one should “get shit,” whether skinny or curvy, and she informed me that “That’s not the way the world works.”
Usually my mom and I see eye to eye, but clearly this is one position that goes beyond my ability to reason with her.
There’s nothing abnormal about being underweight. There’s nothing abnormal about being overweight. There’s nothing wrong with you. Your body is fine. Remember that the only people who will give you shit about your body are people who have a problem with themselves, and even these people are insecure about something. We are all being manipulated by the media to hate ourselves, to hate our bodies, to resent anyone else who reflects our opinions of ourselves. The media wants you to be depressed, but the age of Love is starting to rise up and overcome. People of all shapes and sizes everywhere are starting to realize here is no superior body type, there is only confidence and self love! Fight the Skinny vs. Curvy propoganda, fight society’s attempt to oppress you by making you believe that there’s anything wrong with your body! Help spread the word so we can lift as many women and men out of self hate. We can all make a difference. Love your glamorous bones, love your wonderful curves. Love yourself because being beautiful isn’t what makes you confident, being confident is what makes you beautiful.
